The "Contemporary Arts Festival Discover:Gather:Give" is an arts fair happening at the Stratford-upon-Avon Town Hall on November 15-16, 2025 . The event features over 40 artists and artisans showcasing a diverse range of work, including paintings, jewellery, and ceramics. Entry is free, but visitors are encouraged to make a voluntary donation to the Stratford Youth Collective charity.  What it is An eclectic arts fair with a focus on handcrafted work produced directly by the artists. Well, things haven’t quite gone to plan with my return to sketching online. My excuse isn’t quite “the dog ate my homework,” but it’s not far off! In true BBC Good Life  style, Christmas wasn’t delivered on time — and in my case, it was my camera that didn’t arrive by Friday. So here I am, without the kit I need for my screen sessions. Rather than wait any longer, I’m going a bit old-fashioned and heading to an actual shop to buy one. I have to laugh at the situation. Normally I’m very organised and everything ticks along smoothly, but as you’ll get to know, one of the things I dislike most is letting people down.
